The Community team is in Kenya having a great time working with our youth on various art projects. It has been an amazing experience learning more about different aspects of art. The community team and 8 youth showcased their magic touch drawing, painting and making monster heads! The monster heads are a project by Sara Hasslinger. She runs a workshop in Austin, Texas called Monsterlove that teaches people of all ages to make their own paper mache monster head that they can wear. http://www.sara-hasslinger.com/monsterlove-about/
The monster heads join art with environmental care by using recycled garbage.
Our dream is to have this art work become an income generating project for the youth in our community.
