Malaika Kids

"Disability does not mean inability!"

To be disabled either mentally or physically in Kenya typically means living a life of exclusion and shame. Many in the Kenyan culture believe that it is a curse to be disabled. At Malaika Kids, our school for children with special needs, we recognize that these children are lights to the community and over the past few years since the program's beginning these children have learned to walk, to write and simply to live in a positive healthy environment with other children.

You can make a difference from where you are right now, and sponsor a Malaika Kid today! With a reoccurring donation of $50/month. Your donation supports the special education program costs, bag lunch, student tuition, caretakers salary, and utilities/rent for classrooms. Click the link below and donate towards the Acacia Fund.
