What:
CTC is committed to providing basic healthcare needs for the communities we serve. In congruence with our year round efforts, we host several medical clinics each year to address urgent needs in the community. These clinics are run by volunteer medical teams, with support from local medical providers and CTC Community Health Workers.

Why:
The lack of availability to seek medical care is staggering in Maai Mahiu. Volunteer medical clinics offer general care to residents not only of our community but to surrounding areas as well.

How:
Our partnerships with medical professionals in Kansas and Texas, Bristol Myers Squibb, Kijabe Hospital and the Kenya Ministry of Health are collaborations that strengthen that commitment. CTC healthcare professionals utilize these partnerships and resources to eliminate preventable diseases, empower communities, and offer opportunities for sanitation and nutrition education.
CTC and Dell Children's Medical Center hold medical camps for one week every quarter. During this week, residents are provided with free medical services.
Through HEAL Kenya, a partnership between CTC International and Medical Providers from Dell Children's Medical Center, CTC is able to promote health and wellness to children in rural Kenya.
