This week we were happy to welcome 29 visitors from the Kenya Institute of Social Work and Community Development in Nairobi. During the tour, we discussed specifics of CTC’s work on the ground and how it relates to what the visitors study in school: empowerment of the community through training and management. The visitors were very impressed with the work we are doing in Maai-Mahiu and want to develop our relationship to work with us in the future. As a result of the tour, our visitors from Nairobi donated to our Malaika kids!
