Kyle Barrington

 

My name is Kyle Barrington and I have been a surgical technician for over 20 years.  Over my career, I have had several opportunities for medical mission work, but due to finances, or lack of time available, was not able to attend.  Recently, while working for a physician at the hospital where I work, the Heal Kenya mission trip came up in our discussion.  She invited me to an informative dinner.  It was at this dinner that I was able to meet and talk to some of the members of the Heal Kenya team.  I saw photos of the locals and heard stories of how this mission was making a difference in the lives of these people who have so little.  I knew that night that I would like to be a part of this team. 

 

I originally signed up for the January 2016 trip but was contacted a week later and told that the need was much greater for the October 2015 trip.  I am very fortunate in that I have many things, a good job, a nice house, a beautiful family that supports my desire to go on this trip and a great group of friends who have already pledged their support to help me get to Kenya.  What I do not have, is the ability to fund the trip alone.  That is the purpose of this page.  To ask people that I know, and  maybe do not know, to help me help the people of Maai Mahiu.  Any contribution to my efforts is greatly appreciated. 

 

I genuinely believe that I am supposed to be a part of this Heal Kenya team.  I see this as a great opportunity for me to go and use my talents to help as many people as I can.  Again, thank you for any donation that you can make.  Grateful in advance
