The Maasai are unique people whose needs vary depending on the region they live. Most of the Maasai are rural with very basic means for daily survival. Resources such as water and health care are scarce. Through friendships, CTC seeks a better understanding of how to walk with the Maasai as they live a delicate balance in today’s world without losing their cultural identity. Some common practices are: female circumcision, witch doctors, drinking of goats blood (source of iron), polygamy, etc...

CTC partnered with the Africa Inland Church constructing a worship structure for a Christian faith community. We recently began a project traveling to unreached peoples. This is a strange term, “unreached peoples,” for if they were truly “unreached” how would we know them? Basically, they are Maasai who live miles from any paved road. As a result they lack many basic human needs. We are currently brainstorming on how to best assist without disturbing their way of life.
