It’s time. Drop your phone without worry. For each used cell phone, CTC International will receive a donation that will help change the lives of many. Please join us in our fight against AIDS, poverty and hunger in Africa. Donate your old cell phones NOW and help change the world. It's simple. Print out the Drop Your Phone for Life poster and hang it in your office, school, church or any other place. Collect as many old cell phones as you can and send them to us!

VACATION WITH A PURPOSE
For those people that are interested in helping in Kenya, the following is a brief outline of what to expect on a trip and the teams we are taking Summer 2007. To be considered for one of the upcoming trips, please fill out an application. If you are already on one of our teams this summer, please fill out the health form.
• 10 days to 3 weeks
• First night: nice hotel to rest and recover
• Travel to Maai Mahiu and receive intro
• Spend 3 quarters of trip building relationships through action
• Last quarter reserved to vacation – safari, beach trip to Indian Ocean, climb Mt. Kilimanjaro, white water raft class 5 rapids on the Nile River, etc…
*These trips can be custom made to fit your needs and desires. Want to stay longer, want to see more of the country, want to visit other countries while in Africa…let us know and we can make it happen.
MEDICAL TEAM // June 22 – July 1
• 15 medical volunteers (doctors, nurses, pharmacists, etc.)
• HIV/AIDS, disease, and illness are rampant in Maai Mahiu and the Great Rift Valley region.
• Objective: spend 3 days seeing patients at the Maai Mahiu government clinic and 2 days seeing Maasai patients in the rural areas of the Rift Valley.
• 2 day photo safari in Maasai Mara
COMMUNITY AND FAITH // July 2 – July 10
• 20 volunteers from various churches
• The churches in Africa are some of the most thriving faith communities in the world.
• Objective: to immerse western Christians into the day and life of people in Kenya, begin faith dialogues, and allow the Holy Spirit to guide the efforts made by two Christian cultures seeking to understand each others ways of life and worship.
GO GREEN// July 13 – July 27
• 15 active volunteers from around the globe
• Deforestation, littering and pollution are problems in Kenya
• Objective: live 5 days teaching, learning, and mingling with the locals of Maai Mahiu discovering ways to preserve, restore, and care for the environment
• 6 day climb of Mt. Kilimanjaro
Picasso // July 13-July 27
• 10 artistic volunteers (photographers, painters, musicians, fashion designers, and other means of creative expression)
• Art and music are some of Kenyans main modes of communication and expression of their culture.
• Objective: using Maai Mahiu as a source of inspiration, artists will create a piece or series that will later be shown in a gallery setting and auctioned to raise money for our cause.
