“Comfort the Children - the innocent ones
Our brothers and sisters - all of God’s daughters and sons
Let us remember those dear to us yet
As we count all our blessings, let us not forget
To Comfort the Children”
“Comfort the Children”

I have been fortunate to watch CTC grow from a unique perspective. As Zane and Rance’s stepfather, I have been a part of this venture from its earliest stages. For me, it has been like stepping from the shore into a swiftly flowing river… the farther out you go, the more likely you will get swept away. Swept away by the overwhelming need that is in the world. You can’t clearly see it until you get out a little way from the safety of the shoreline. Swept away by those around you who have committed to help make it better for others; those who unselfishly give of who they are to make a difference. Swept downstream without really knowing where it all might lead. Swept away by the most powerful current of all – love. Joining others to giving part of what you have – who you are – to someone else with no expectation of return is one of the most exhilarating experiences of life. And it is, I believe, what drives CTC.
