It was a great joy to the malaika kids and caretakers as they welcomed Mr. Martin, the occupational therapist. He will be working with the Malaika kids on a full time basis training them on delayed developmental milestones to help promote independence in their skill areas so as to improve their quality of life.
He is of great help to the kids and the caretakers. People from the community with physical challenges are aware of our ongoing assessment and are seeking assistance from the therapist. We have registered 4 new kids into our program and 3 have been referred to relevant facilities for services after assessment.
